Amelia Kennedy is a British actor and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.

She graduated from the acting programme at California institute of the Arts in 2019 and has also trained at The British American Drama Academy in Oxford, United Kingdom and Atlantic Acting School in Manhattan, New York.

In the past few years, Amelia has appeared in productions that range from Shakespearean, to Chekhovian to original one person pieces composed and created by Amelia herself. Her first original play ‘Nothing Good Happens After 3 am premiered at California Institute of the Arts in 2016 and, a new play entitled ‘Ask For Bukowski At The Counter’ is in development to workshop soon.

In addition to theatrical work, Amelia has published three short stories in the online literary magazine ‘Literate Sunday’ and recently finished writing her first full length novel. She also writes poetry and publishes essays onto her website (see ‘It’s All Material’ on this website).
